STILL ALICE

STILL ALICE: The most heartbreaking film you will see this year, it is nonetheless powerful with an Oscar nominated performance (and most likely Oscar win) by Julianne Moore as a Columbia professor coming to terms with the onslaught of Alzheimer disease. It is also the story of the devastation that is inflicted on the entire family. Alec Baldwin as the husband with Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth as the two daughters give wonderful performances but the movie belongs to Ms. Moore. She is funny, wistful, sad, angry and frustrated, sometimes with only so much as a shrug or a look. A real Master class in acting. Don't miss it. And take lots of Kleenex.
